Chief Business Officer – Growth & Unit Operations

Role Purpose

To lead organizational growth, revenue, and business strategy while owning end-to-end unit operations, ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable scalability.

This role combines strategic business leadership with hands-on unit management, ideal for a leader who can drive growth while maintaining strong on-ground execution.Key ResponsibilitiesA. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term growth strategies
  • Drive revenue through OPD/IPD services, corporate mental health programs, partnerships, and new service lines
  • Identify and expand new markets, locations, and business opportunities
  • Build and manage corporate, insurance, and institutional partnerships
  • Monitor competition, market trends, and pricing strategies
  • Own P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization

B. Operations & Management

  • Manage complete unit operations (clinical & non-clinical)
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical governance, and quality standards
  • Oversee doctors, psychologists, nursing staff, operations, admin, and support teams
  • Implement SOPs, process improvements, and performance benchmarks
  • Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction
  • Handle escalations, risk management, and crisis situations

C. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate unit heads, managers, and senior staff
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Director, HR, Finance, and Admin teams
  • Drive culture of accountability, performance, and ethical practice
  • Represent the organization in external forums, partnerships, and reviews

D. Performance & Reporting

  • Track KPIs related to growth, revenue, quality, utilization, and patient outcomes
  • Present performance reports and strategic insights to leadership
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making across operations
